Monsoon of Grace (Adyashakti)
An Esoteric Bargain
[My five-star Amazon review (May 29, 2014) of âMonsoon of Graceâ by Adyashakti.]
If there is a current spiritual writer who is similar to me, it is Adyashakti. Like me, he is very interested in the descending Kundalini, and like me he is interested in comparing/contrasting how the foremost expositors of this Energy, or Shakti, describe it relative to En-Light-enment.
In this 32-page essay, Adyashakti considers the descending Kundalini relative to the teachings of Abhinavagupta (the preeminent Kashmir Shaivism guru), Sri Aurobindo (the originator of Integral Yoga), Ramana Maharshi (the foremost twentieth-century Indian sage), and Adi Da Samraj (the late, great spiritual genius). And because Adyashakti is an accomplished author and editor, the writing is first rate.
If you are interested in the âhigherâ (or descending) Kundalini, and how it relates to spiritual En-Light-enment, you doubtless will find this little 99-cent book an esoteric bargain.Â
